This workshop is an introduction to hula hooping for fun and fitness. The class is geared for beginners through intermediate, and for those with some experience, we’ll include some challenge moves as well. The class will include discussion about how to choose a hoop, warm-ups, and detailed instructions, demonstrations, and practice time for each move. We’ll cover two different styles of waist hooping, hip hooping, passing the hoop outside the body, and hooping overhead. Depending on time and experience of participants, we may learn how to “corkscrew” the hoop from overhead back onto the body and/or a few extra tricks as well!
