Grand Funk

Grand Funk Railroad was an American hard rock band formed in 1969 in Michigan, known for their heavy, blues-influenced sound and massive amplified guitars that helped define early heavy metal and proto-punk. The trio, led by vocalist Mark Farner, became one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the early 1970s with hits like "We're an American Band" and "Locomotion," combining raw power with accessible melodies.
