Dexter and The Moonrocks

Dexter and The Moonrocks is a West Texas band formed by a fry cook, oil field operator, concrete surface decorator, and kids' baseball coach who created "Western Space Grunge," blending country and western with grunge influences. They achieved breakthrough success with their 2021 single "Couch" and signed to Severance Records, an imprint of Big Loud Rock, releasing their album "Western Space Grunge" in July 2024. Their single "Sad in Carolina" reached No. 1 on U.S. Alternative radio for seven weeks, establishing them as a significant force in contemporary rock music.
