Darwin is a British hardcore DJ and producer known for pioneering fast-breakbeat and darkcore sounds within the UK hardcore scene of the early 1990s. His aggressive, high-energy production style and innovative use of complex breakbeats helped define the harder edge of rave culture during the genre's most experimental period. Darwin's raw, unpolished aesthetic and prolific output on independent labels established him as a cult figure within the underground hardcore community.
